The effects of exercise with groove rhythm on executive function vary among individuals. In participants familiar with groove rhythm + exercise, exercise enhances executive function and prefrontal cortex neural activity, and psychological responses predict the executive function enhancement effects of groove rhythm + exercise on prefrontal cortex neural activity.

The effects of exercise with groove rhythm on executive function vary among individuals. In participants familiar with groove rhythm + exercise, exercise enhances executive function and prefrontal cortex neural activity, and psychological responses predict the executive function enhancement effects of groove rhythm + exercise on prefrontal cortex neural activity and executive function. The sense of auditory-motor synchronization and arousal from groove rhythm + exercise were shown to be important factors, contributing to the development of music-based exercise prescriptions.
