● Research Overview: Executive function decline (cognitive fatigue) caused by exercise not only decreases competitive performance but also induces risk-taking behaviors, adversely affecting safe sports activities. However, the mechanisms of its occurrence are largely unknown, and there are no countermeasures. This study focuses on brain lactate as a mechanism of executive function decline and clarifies its role using MRS.
