The university's men's soccer club (TOP team) that Nakano belongs to participated in the 2025 Niigata Nippo Cup/Kyodo Tsushin Cup 30th Niigata Prefecture Soccer Championship final, defeating JAPAN Soccer College 4-2.

Following this result, the university's men's soccer club will participate in the Emperor's Cup JFA 105th All Japan Football Championship starting on May 24.
