【Lab】Seminar Group Photo and 4th-Year Thesis Progress Presentations Begin

The 2026 academic year is in full swing at the Sports Conditioning Ochi Laboratory. This week brought two highlights: our new lineup's group photo and the kickoff of weekly thesis progress presentations by the 4th-year students.

2026 Seminar Group Photo

With nine new 3rd-year students joining the lab, we now have 23 members in total — 13 seniors, 9 juniors, and one graduate student. Not everyone could make it on the day, but we took a group photo together with those who were there.

4th-Year Thesis Progress Presentations Kick Off

This week, the 4th-year students began their weekly thesis progress presentations. Each week during seminar, presenters share their research themes and current status, and receive feedback from peers across year groups.

Presenters walk through their research plans and current data, while 3rd-year students, fellow 4th-year students, and the graduate student raise questions and offer comments from their own perspectives. These sessions sharpen the quality of each project and give the junior students a preview of what lies ahead next year.

We're looking forward to another year of growth — supporting each other and learning through research.
