【Lab】Thank You for Joining Our Strength Training Practicum Class at the Open Campus

On Sunday, August 9, the Ochi Laboratory ran the Department of Health and Sports "Strength Training Practicum" trial class at the Niigata University of Health and Welfare Open Campus. Thank you to everyone who came and joined us.
What we covered
Starting from the question "why do we do this exercise?", participants tried out what we actually teach in class.
- Running and changing direction: front lunge
- Building a base for explosive power: Romanian deadlift
- Connecting the whole body to transfer force: bench press and push-up
What matters is not the weight on the bar, but why and how each exercise is performed. Rather than watching a demonstration, participants moved, lifted, and felt for themselves how training connects to the competitive field.
